Surprise Mid-Week Post About Nothing

Good morning!

I intentionally delayed this post because I honestly didn’t have anything exciting to write about. We went from having weeks of spring weather to a week of freezing temps and snow. Last week was pretty cold and miserable (weather-wise, not mental health-wise), so nothing really happened.

Before the snow came, I did pull the trigger on a bike. Unsurprisingly, it took all of an hour or two for Ian to then also buy a bike after riding mine around the park. We got a 15 mile bike ride in before the wind chill went into single digits, which was very fun. The bikes were a good choice.

Go figure, this week we are back to spring! Sunny and temps in the 50s-60s. Naturally, next week is supposed to be in the 30s again, but we’ll take what we can get. I’m really stretching with the updates here.

Later in March we’re going to Bryce Canyon National Park, which should be fun.

Bachelorette party planning is proving to be more complicated than I had hoped.

I made it through my first full month of work, and things are going along smoothly there.

The bikes live in the hallway because there’s not enough room to walk them through the garage with both cars parked in there.

Mine is the teeny one in the back.

This is Ian’s bike. I don’t know why he has a picture of his and not of mine. They’re the exact same, but mine is dark grey and much smaller.

Look at him go! Taking my bike for a joy ride before I even had a chance to ride it.
